Bloating in skirts 🌿 I think one of the biggest reasons why I don’t wear skirts is because of my tummy, the reality is, I look “bloated” when my tummy is relaxed most of the time, I can’t hide this in skirts/dresses like I normally do with high waisted shorts. I would constantly suck in my tummy and flex when I wore skirts to “look good”. But everyone has a tummy bump! It’s completely normal and natural!! You just typically don’t see them in Instagram photos or on media or in ads. Let’s stop hiding the fact that we have tummies or that bloating is a thing that happens. Let’s normalize tummy bumps and bloating. You don’t have to be uncomfortable 24/7 by sucking in and flexing. It’s unnecessary, embrace your body as it is naturally!! There’s nothing wrong with having a tummy or bloating. Your body fluctuates throughout the day naturally, so obviously your tummy will look bigger and expand at times and look smaller at other times of the day! Don’t feel insecure or ashamed because of natural things. You are worthy, strong, confident and beautiful. Next time you put on a skirt or a dress and see your tummy pouch, embrace and accept it, don’t let socially constructed concepts influence you otherwise!! You look amazing as you are.
