Today was a rainy and cold day in Oslo, Norway. But that didn’t stop many school students to go on strike for climate in front of the parliament. “Fridays For Future” is an initiative initiated last year by Greta Thunberg, who, at age 15, started to protest outside the Swedish parliament about the need for action to combat climate change. In the meantime “Fridays For Future” became a world phenomenon and hundreds of thousands of school students joined the cause, trying to defend their future and their planet through strikes and protests. Can adults learn from children? As a mother, I can only support such a meaningful cause hoping it will make history.
